Charlotte was born March 20, 1934, the daughter of Edward and Crescentia Schindorf. She married Gerald “Jerry” Cook on April 24, 1954 and together they were blessed with nearly 50 years of marriage until his death in 2003. She was a member of the Sherriff Posse AUX. She enjoyed square dancing and traveling to Texas. Jerry and Char raised and bred horses for many years as well. She was a loving, spunky, kind, strong-willed woman. She will be deeply missed.
Charlotte is survived by: her children, Steve (Nancy) Cook, Glenn (Clara) Cook, Kathy (Tim) Hall, Karen (Steve) Kotecki; 15 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren; and sister, Ethel Niles.
She was preceded in death by: her husband; grandson, Jerry Cook; 3 brothers; 7 sisters; and special companion Bob Cross.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00AM on Friday, January 12, 2024 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church 2929 Mc Cracken Street Norton Shores Michigan with a luncheon to follow. Visitation will begin at 10 AM and will continue until the time of service. Interment will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
