I am really saddened by this.  Chris was a very good friend to my brother Tim (Peabody.  After Tim's passing in December of 1979, he became a friend to the entire Peabody family.  He was there for us when my brother Pat passed in 1987 and when my mom passed in 2000.  It was December when my mom died.  There was snow on the ground  and because of that Egelston Township wouldn't allow us to gather at her gravesite.  He went to bat for us with the Township and tried his best to get them to allow us at the gravesite.  Good memories of him, great memories of him.   I am so sorry for your loss  He had a heartbreaking last few years.   As he was greeted by Tanya, I'm kind of hoping in the line behind her were a few Peabody's to also greet him.  Prayers to all of you.

I am still trying to accept the fact you're gone, I'm so sad for your whole family and all of your friends too... I'll miss our talks; parties and just hanging out with you. I know you're with Tanya and that's all that matters now; you're where you want to be with her & you don't have to deal with the chemo any longer... it's what you wanted so I'll have to accept it...RIH Chris; in the arms of your angel...

Chris will be dearly missed.  I will miss his smile and fun sense of adventure.  He had many gatherings that brought a lot of people together and we all have those memories because of him.  I will remember the 4th of July parties, Halloween, Pontoon rides, Harley trips but most of all I thank him for sharing his family and getting to know his kids and grandkids.  He leaves behind a great legacy and has made an impact on the community,  Rest in peace my friend as you meet Jesus and are reunited with Tanya.

Words can't express how sorry we are for your loss.  We will continue to keep all of you in our prayers.

Chris and I shared many good times and memories over the years.  From competing against each other in HS sports to him supporting me in my coaching at Oakridge.  We may or may not have shared a decent number of shots of Crown over the years.  She you down the road my Friend!

Oh how the heavens shine so bright. I can see it, her waiting to greet you with open arms my friend. What a blessed soul you was to so many. Your kindness & heart will forever carry on here until we meet you again. It's a sad time for us here but also humbling to know you and the wifey are together again riding those heaven hills, feeling the sun shine upon you together. Until I see you again buddy take it easy & watch over us all

I've been friends with Chris since 4th grade, when he moved into the neighborhood.  You always knew when he was around, as he was funny, talked a lot, and a good athlete.  We played lots of sports, walked to school everyday, and always remained good friends.  He was a good man and loved his kids and grand-kids, we will truly miss him and Tanya.

Where to start… met Chris in 1989 ish , he ran lights for The Band that Joe was in.. soon we became friends as couples with then wife Dort. Our children were born very close together. Chris was always there if you needed something. He was soooo “Outgoing”. We called him “Sabwa Fare” he was everywhere! New Years, Christmas, Raft trips, country dancing, golf. Then came Tanya, beautiful lady, Joe and I were  matron of honor and best man at their Las Vegas wedding. Kids have remained close, even Justin being a groomsman in Brett’s wedding. We attended Heather and Kendra’s weddings too! This could be a book, that’s how many memories we have. RIP Chris, until we meet in heaven some Day🙏

Chris was the nicest stranger I have ever met. He came to my breast cancer benefit back in March, neither of us knowing each other’s names at this point…and he told me about his battle with this terrible disease. Even on the bad days, Chris would make himself get up and move around a bit. He encouraged me to do the same, he was inspiring to me. Though I did not know him well, I will miss seeing him out and about with his M46 hat on. His friends and family will be in my thoughts during this difficult time.
