Christy A. Muskovin passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, at home under the loving care of her family and Harbor Hospice on Monday, April 30, 2012. A lifelong resident of Muskegon, she was born on July 29, 1970. Christy is survived by her husband, Ken; two children, Jordyn and Mitchell; her mother, Kay Smack; father and mother-in-law, Marshall and Marilyn Muskovin; sister-in-law, Kim (Mark) Knoppe; her special dog, Jake; several close friends along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Christy worked for Blue Care Network for 15 years. She was doting mother who enjoyed being a “Soccer Mom” at Orchard View. According to her wishes cremation has taken place and no service is scheduled. A Celebration of Life Visitation and gathering will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday, May 5, 2012 there will be a continuation of fellowship and luncheon at Bonicki’s Sports Bistro 1891 E. Apple Ave. starting at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society or Harbor Hospice.
