Crystal was born Crystal St. John on December 12th, 1990 in Muskegon, Michigan to Michelle Bohland and John St. John Sr. She was a lifelong resident of Muskegon, and attended Reeths-Puffer High School, where she enjoyed socializing, music, dance, basketball, and cheer.
Crystal married Jamie Villanueva in Muskegon on September 8th, 2015 as a mother to their two children together, Baliee Villanueva and Trey Villanueva. She (like in high school) still enjoyed socializing, meeting new people, and making new friendships. It was her easygoing and free-spirited personality that inspired those who were fortune enough to enjoy her company. Crystal worked tirelessly to obtain her CNA certification which lead to her accepting employment with Christian Care Senior Care in Muskegon. It was through her work that Crystal’s compassion was felt the most as she cared for those around her. However, where Crystal’s zest for life shined the brightest around her children. Crystal loved being a mother and spending time with all of her and her husband’s kids, nieces, and nephews.
Crystal will be truly missed here on Earth, but will be remembered and cherished by those who were fortune enough to share in life with her. May her kind heart, motherly spirit, and infectious smile continue to guide us.
Crystal was preceded in death by her grandmother Ellen St. John, uncle Ernest St. John, Jr.,sister, Chelsea Cremer, and her grandparents.
She is survived by her husband Jaime Villanueva; Children: Bailee and Trey; Stepchildren Aubree, Aiyana, Jordan, Nathan, and Hayleigh; Mother Michelle and Phil Bohland; Father John St John Sr.; Grandmother Deb Furman Bray; Grandfather Ernest St John Sr.; Brother John St John Jr.; Sister Lydia St John; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
