Mr. Daniel Carl French, age 56, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2012. He was born in Grand Haven on August 8, 1955 to Herbert and Glenna (Sleight) French. Daniel is survived by a brother, David (Janice) French of Bangor, MI; two sisters, Carolyn (James) Meyers of Largo, FL and Marilyn (James) Start of Fruitport; nieces and nephews, Marcus and Adam French, Sara Wilks, Shannon and Tyler Start. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Larry G. French. Daniel had worked at Port City Metal Finishing. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a private family service. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of North Ottawa.
