Mrs. Delores C. (Murat) Huntoon, age 87, passed away after a brief illness on Monday August 30, 2010. She was born to Fred and Hazel (Secor) on February 5, 1923 in Traverse City. She is survived by her sons, Gordon (Janet) Murat of Muskegon and Paul Atkinson of Sand Lake, MI; 4 granddaughters and 1 grandson; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Delores was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Murat in 1972, Louis Huntoon in 1987and by a sister, Dorothy Atkinson. She had retired from Standard Automotive and was a member of the Holton American Legion Post 397 Auxiliary. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the Holton American Legion Post 397, 9150 Holton Rd. Internment at Holton Twp. Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
