Diane Lynn Tufts

Diane Lynn Tufts, age 71, of Roosevelt Park, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan, on September 24, 1953, the daughter of Thomas and Jeanette Tufts.

Diane was a proud graduate of Muskegon Catholic Central, Class of 1971. She spent her career working in an office setting, dedicating many years to her work before retiring to care for her beloved mother in her later years.

Outside of work, Diane was known for her deep love of family, and for her hobbies that brought her joy—particularly working in her yard, collecting bear figurines, and cherishing every moment spent with loved ones. Her home and heart were always open to those she held dear.

Diane is survived by her sister, Cathi (Warren) Vanderwell of St. Augustine, FL, and her brother, Don (Denise) Tufts of Muskegon, MI. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Andy (Tonya) Tufts, Michelle (Chet Coleman) Alvarez, Dan (Abby) Tufts, Chris (Justine) Tufts, and Audrey (Martin) Crawford, all of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Tim Tufts.

A celebration of Diane’s life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Ever Rest Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM. A dessert luncheon will be held afterward to continue the gathering of family and friends.
