Eleanor was an active member of The Radient Rebekah Lodge #307 in Fennville, starting her fraternal life in Shelby in 1950. She served as Past President of the Rebekah Assembly of Michigan and Past Conductor of the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and would volunteer at the Frauenthal Theater in downtown Muskegon. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and reading.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Phil Liebing; daughter, Roxanne Johnson; grandson, Phillip Liebing; her parents and all of her siblings.
Eleanor is survived by: sons, Ed (Madolyn) Liebing and Paul (Jody) Liebing; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Larry Johnson.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, May 16th at 5:00pm at Mt. Hope Cemetery on W. Woodrow Road in Shelby, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the Rebekah Lodge of Fennville.
