Mr. Floyd A. Landry was born on December 9, 1950 in Lake Charles, Louisiana and went to his Saviors loving arms June 13, 2011 from home. He worked for the rigs that helped supply the off shore oil wells. He enjoyed diving and taking care of his dogs, he also was freehand tattoo artist and enjoyed playing the drums. Floyd is survived by his wife Melody Landry; his stepchildren and step grandchildren all from Muskegon; his mother, Ella Landry; brothers, Crawford and Gene; sisters Lenda and Margie, along with many nieces and nephews all from the Louisiana area. Floyd was preceded in death by his father, Crawford; his son, Charlie and a nephew, Jojo. This is the devotion that was written the day that he passed, Psalm 57:1, Have mercy on me, oh God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be he held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 26, at Grace Bible Church, 3053 Evanston Ave., Muskegon, Michigan. The family is asking in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made to cover expenses.
