Frank (Dad) will always be remembered for his kind caring heart and generosity. A soft-spoken man who love to share funny stories with family and friends. Being kind to everyone he encountered; be it friend, family or foe. Athlete in his time: fantastic baseball player who could run, nickname SPYDER! Excelled in Bowling and very much enjoyed Golf (could’ve went PRO, but Loved MOM & Family more than anything.) He was also an avid pool player. He made it to Forman as a Contractor Cement Mason, taking Mom, Denise, & Bill along on road trips for jobs, as well as DROVE them across the country for fun making sure they saw the USA! (not a fan of flying) Muskegon was always home, but spent time in Chicago for work and there you have it~ CUBS, BEARS fan for life! (smart man, too)
Mom seen him and that was it~ LOVE for life… crossing barrier when interracial marriages not so common: Patricia Ann Pletcher being German and Irish. He loved her more than any man could love a woman: TRULY for Better or Worse. They couldn’t have children of their own; so adopted Native Americans; Denise first, then Bill. Treating and spoiling as their own (Dad reprimanded, as needed!) Always Music on in the house & dancing together. Supported anything the children wanted to do or be; took them to ALL our concerts & attended EVERY sporting event they did, Dad coached Bill’s little league team, too.
He attended Native American Cultural events of his tribe: Little River Bands of Ottawa, plus a life member of the Cateri Circle of St Thomas Church attending and helping on their Social events.
