Gabriel Luciano Gonzalez

Gabriel Luciano Gonzalez, age 40 of Muskegon, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014 in Muskegon. Gabriel was born on September 28, 1974 in Muskegon to Florencio Gonzalez and Linda Christensen. He enjoyed spending time with his children, hunting, his Detroit Lions, and watching Nascar. Gabriel was preceded in death by his grandmother, Iris Wood; his brother, Jesus Flores; and nephew, Ari Gonzalez. He is survived by his parents: Linda Christensen and Florencio (Cheryl) Gonzalez; his daughters: E'liyah (child of E'lisa Gutierrez) Alexa and Brielle Gonzalez (children of Melissa Love); his grandparents: James Wood, Santiago Gonzalez, and Esperanza Gonzalez; his siblings: Tonya Pollock, Damon Wood, and Selina (Jim) Cooper; his nephews: Darion Beasley Jr., Hunter Hawn, Dominic Flores, Eli Flores, and Jesus Arizola; his nieces: Whitney Pollock, Nicole Wood, Brianna Hawn, Emmy Sanchez, Ashlee Wood, and Brie Flores; great-niece, Aurora Pollock; and many, many friends that he considered family. A funeral service for Gabriel will be on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Ever Rest Funeral Home, 1783 E. Keating Ave in Muskegon, MI. The family will receive visitors on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 4 8 p.m. and again on Saturday, one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to his daughters' memorial fund and sent to 1783 E. Keating Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442.
