Gregory James Rutkowski, age 66, passed away at his Muskegon home following a long illness. He was born in Grand Rapids Michigan on October 13, 1953, and adopted shortly thereafter by Charles James and Norman Jean Rutkowski, who preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Orchard View High School Class of 1971 and attended Muskegon Community College. Greg was a unique individual with a quick wit and a wry sense of humor. He worked in many capacities: residential support staff for MOKA, med nurse at Christian Care Senior Community, MATS bus driver, and cheerful driver of the Clearwater Beach Jolley Trolley. He loved music, especially jazz.
Greg is survived by his sister Sandra K (Allen) Beck of Muskegon; Niece, Bonni (Anne Schulga) Johnson, Nephew, Jason D (Kimberly) Johnson of Grand Rapids, Makaila Johnson and Alec Johnson, and many cousins.
There will be no service. In lieu of a memorial gift, please feed the birds and share the road kindly with pedestrians and bicyclists.
