John was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed spending time with his family in the outdoors. His family spent many summers camping up north, including on the Pere Marquette River. John had worked at Brunswick for over 50 years. In his retirement, John could be found out with his metal detector, or spending time with his family. He was his kids and grandkids biggest fan, and there wasn’t an event that he didn’t attend. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and he will be dearly missed.
John was preceded in death by his sister Rose, and brothers Kent and Garry.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Julia;
