Mr. Lynne “Roger” Garvey, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 1, 2010. He was born in Muskegon to August & Audrey Garvey. Roger worked many places including Cannon Muskegon Corp. where he retired in 2005 after 29 years. He enjoyed singing, playing guitar, Old Engine Shows and spending time with family and friends. Roger is survived by his loving wife Holly (Hartman) Garvey; 1 daughter, Shelly VanOpynen; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren with one on the way; many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Barbara Lynn Watts and by a sister, Ruth E. Chingman. There will be a private family gathering at a later date.
