

Norma “Na Na” Griswold one of Gods precious angels, received her wings Wed eve Dec 7th 2011. Norma passed in the arms of her daughter Brenda and beloved son-in-law Edward Snyder while visiting in their home on Jimmerson Lake, Angola, IN. The past six months Norma resided with her granddaughter, Melissa (Ed) Slorf and their three daughters in Spring Lake MI. Norma and her twin brother(Neil Bickel), were born July 9th, 1924 in a log cabin near Crystal Valley MI. Norma left the area around age 20 to take work at the Kelly Box Corporation and Muskegon Piston Ring. It was at the “Piston” ring that she met her first husband Mr. Jack D. Ainsworth. He preceded her in death Dec 26th 1991. Norma married Mr. Nathan Griswold her “soul mate” on September 24th 1994. Mr. Griswold preceded her in death. Norma always put the loved ones in her life first and made many sacrifices for them. Norma loved to quilt, visit local casinos and spend time with her beloved son Dan and his family in North Carolina. Norma attended McGraft Congregational Church for many years and most recently Wolf Lake United Methodist. Norma was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Madge Bickel, four brothers Neil, Bill, Don and Harvey Bickel. Norma is survived by son Dan (Judy) Ainsworth, daughter Brenda (Ed) Snyder, grandchildren, Melissa (Ed) Slorf, Laura and Mikaela Dault (and all the Dault children!) Dustin and Caitlin Ainsworth, great-grandchildren Jadelynn, Lilli and Paisley Slorf. Special friends Deborah Crystal, Sandy and Bert Peterson and many others. Norma LOVED to dance. Dance Na Na with all your loved ones and most importantly dance with Jesus!! Always in our hearts and cherished forever! We LOVE you more than words can express. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the Wolf Lake United Methodist Church, 370 Vista Terrace. Visitation will be held at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to Wolf Lake United Methodist Church or the DAV.
