Norman L. Roth passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 while in hospice care. Norm was born December 24, 1937 in Shelby, MI to Lloyd and Vietta Roth. Norm graduated from Shelby High School in 1956 and retired from West Michigan Steel in 1998. Norm enjoyed spending time building crafts for numerous craft shows every year. He also enjoyed camping and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. Norm leaves behind Lillian, his wife of 37 years; his son, Steve Roth of Shelby, MI; his step daughter, Lillian Kops of Arizona; 2 step sons, George Kops of Holton, and Robert Kops of Arizona; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; his sister, Norena (George) Folman; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Norm is preceded in death by his daughter, Susan; his step son, Mike; his grandson, Jason; and his sister, Shirley. A memorial service for Norm will be on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 11am at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel; 1783 E. Keating Ave. in Muskegon. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, beginning at 10am. Interment will be at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Poppen Hospice Residence.
