Paula was born in Denver, CO March 10, 1951 to Paul and Maxine (Thompson) Appel.
She graduated from Muskegon High School in 1969, and continuously volunteered and devoted time to help others, including the United Way, food banks, and was a board member on numerous charitable organizations.
She is survived by her 3 sons Toby Brown, Chuck Brown, and Rob Strandberg; grandchildren, Raven, Jaylynn, Tera, and Nathan; 2 great grandchildren, Josephine and Kinslee; siblings Nancy (Rob) Woodruff, Darlene (Henry Herrera) Hosler, Barb (Ted) Olsen, Russ (Glenda) Hosler, Randy, Terri, Shari, Jan, and Debbie; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A private memorial celebration of Paula's life will take place .
