Phyllis M. Passenier, age 67, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2012. Phyllis was born on October 14, 1944 in White Cloud to the late John and Mary Harris. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry J. Passenier, and two grandchildren, John E. Baldwin and Erica A. Passenier. Surviving are her six children, Christine Passenier, Terri (Dan) Davis, Larry II (Wanda) Passenier, Mary Baldwin, Michael (Sherri) Passenier, David (Laura) Passenier, all of Muskegon; 24 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sharon (Walter) Pierce, Wanda (Harley) Zanzig; mother-in-law, Birdie Passenier; in-laws, George Passenier Jr., Norma Downs, Sharon (Butch) Zerns, Chuck (Shelia) Passenier, Robin (Rick) Massey, Joe Burke. Phyllis was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Shirley Burke; brother-in-law, Bernie Downs and father-in-law, George Passenier, Sr. Funeral services will be held at the Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
