

Robert "Bob" John Morse went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 23, 2011, at home with his family by his side. He was born on June 16, 1928 to John and Gladys (Meredith) Morse. Robert was an avid golfer, bowler, hunter, and fisherman. He was employed at Muskegon Tool Inc. until he retired. He had also worked for Jack Loeks Theaters, (Getty and the Auto Drive In), Spot lights at the LC Walker Arena, Continental Motors, and owned Red & John’s Wrecker Service. After retiring he attended MCC and received his real-estate licenses. He was also a member of the Muskegon Heights Eagles. He is survived by the love of his life his special feline companion, Katie, his four daughters Mary (Clark) Bingham of Muskegon, Terry (Mark) McIlreath of Byron Center, Kathy (Duane) Braddy of Baldwin, and Roberta (Jon) Mathews of Muskegon. 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild with 1 on the way; a sister Betty (Robert) German of Muskegon, and a brother Chuck (Kay) Morse of Houston TX, along with many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by grandsons Robert Bingham, and Greg Mathews, granddaughter Jennifer Mathews, great grandson Jason Schwing, sister and brother in law Donna and Elmer Flannery. A special thanks to Penny Helm who cared for him. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Macon from Calvary Chapel on the Lakeshore. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers please consider Harbor Hospice or Calvary Chapel on the Lakeshore.
