Shirley was born January 9, 1934, the daughter of Henry and Alice Eddy. She married Norman Morse in 1953. Together they were blessed with four children and 68 years of marriage. Shirley was a member of Faith Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed crafts and sewing but her family always brought her the most joy. She was a caring, giving, attentive and selfless woman who will be deeply missed.
Shirley is survived by: her husband Norman; children, Vicki (Robert) Heminover, Norma (Tom) Johnson David Morse, and Mark Morse; grandchildren, Marci (Greg), Christina (Bryan), Debbie (Matt), Karen (Joshua), Elizabeth (Chris), Becca (Jason), Craig (Alexandra), and Holly (Ryan); Randy (Amber), Tammy (Ernie), Michael (Kenyetta); 32 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter-in-law, Cindy Knoblett; brothers, Donnie, Henry, Edwin, and Lee; and several aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church 3593 Whitehall Road Muskegon. Interment will be at East Dalton Oak Hill Cemetery.
