Socorro was one of three siblings, and family remained a steady center throughout his life. He shared a particularly close bond with his sister, Maria, a connection marked by loyalty and genuine affection. When his father returned to Mexico, Socorro followed him—an act that reflected the strength of family ties that guided many of his choices.
A hardworking man, Socorro spent most of his life as a commercial roofer, known for showing up, putting in the effort, and taking pride in honest work.
