Susan D. Sherwood, age 69, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 in Muskegon surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 20, 1949 to the late Raymond and Helen (Cook) Rose. On May 25, 1968, she married the love of her life, Michael, and they recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. Susan was a lifetime member of the Community of Christ Church and worked for 38 years for Howmet Corporation. She loved to go shopping, taking rides in the car, and traveling. The most important thing to do was spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her girls' weekends with her “Up North Sisters." Susan is survived by her husband, Michael, two sons, Greg (Janice) and Tim (Lisa), five grandchildren, Zach, Owen, Brendan, Hailey, and Laci. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Jane. There will be a funeral service on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel with a visitation one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice.
