We lost a good, kind man on June 23rd. Bryan was a proud father to Roger (Michelle), adoring Gramps to Luke and Kolby and loving and supportive husband to Teri. He also leaves behind his brother Craig Peterson (Cheryl), sister Erin Mawson (Syd), foster brother Allen Kenesky and best friend of many years, Glen Wilson.
Born to Pete and Isabel Peterson, Bryan spent his early years in Coombs and Parksville where he first learned how to keep change in his pocket by selling berries he picked or fish he caught. Most people who knew Bryan will likely remember his love of putting together a deal….most often involving cars.
As a young man Bryan spent time logging in Gold River and tried out construction in Alberta before coming home to the Island and settling into a long stretch at Harmac until he retired in 2008.
Bryan loved with his whole heart and lived life to the fullest. Remember him with a smile not tears….it was his wish.
