Over the last 18 years he and Diana enjoyed countless trips together, including many visits to the United States and Mexico. Melaque, Mexico became their favourite winter destination contributing years of joy, laughter and adventure. Their travels also took them to many Southeast Asian countries, and it the past year Dave and Di would take two special journey’s, heading off to Ireland and finally Maui.

Dave enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, including trips to the casino, trying his luck with Keno and never missing a 6/49 draw. He especially treasured his coffee dates at McDonald’s with his brother Roger. The two shared countless laughs, stories and good natured banter and, together, they could often be found entertaining everyone within earshot.

David was a devoted husband, a loving father and an exceptionally proud Papa. He was an avid sports fan and never missed an opportunity to support Diana, his children and grandchildren in their activities and accomplishments. Known for his sense of humour, warm smile and playful spirit, he had a remarkable ability to brighten any room he entered.
