
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dennis Novitsky on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 52 years old. Dennis was born on December 1, 1973, in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, to Mother Lois Hingley Novitsky and Father Randy Novitsky. Dennis had an older sister, Rhonda.
Dennis went to elementary and middle school in Bonanza, Alberta, and high school in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Dennis went to college in Grande Prairie, Alberta for Business Management. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed all sports, mainly playing hockey and baseball as a kid. Dennis loved motorbiking with his dad and his friends from a young age.
Dennis married Karlynn Walker on August 19, 1995. 3 years later in June, they welcomed their daughter, Rachael. Dennis and his family moved to Grande Prairie, Alberta in 2015.
Dennis worked and owned a trucking business in the oil and gas industry in Northern Alberta for over 20 years. After leaving the oil and gas industry, he moved to Nanaimo, British Columbia in 2016 and worked in housing property and development for a number of years. Dennis enjoyed being outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, jeeping and travelling. He is predeceased by his son Dalton (1998), and survived by his daughter, Rachael (Jakob), mother, Lois, father Randy and sister Rhonda (Cam, Reiss and Rory).
