Edward Clarence Griswold

Ed was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Flo, sisters Betty, Gwen and Clare. He is survived by his loving wife Pat of 50 years, daughter Kathy, son Rick and grandchildren Tyler and Kianna and their mother Jodie, as well as extended family members. He is also survived by two sisters and a brother and their families.

Ed was a very dedicated family man. He and Pat enjoyed many excursions with their kids and grandchildren. He began his working career at the age of 16 and continued for 50 years, working in the trucking and forestry industry on Vancouver Island. He will always be remembered for his willingness to help anyone in need as well as for his unforgettable smile and great sense of humor.

The family would like to thank the staff at Eden Gardens and Nanaimo Seniors Village for their care of Ed.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation to a charity of their choice.
