Mommy’s arms are empty and our hearts are broken, our O warrior gained her angel wings on November 13, 2022. Mommy, Janice Boley, fought for and with Evie for 12 years and she always amazed everyone by beating every obstacle she faced but her little body couldn’t give us one more miracle.
Evie left behind mommy and Darrell, her grandparents Ron Strazza (PopPop) and Roberta/Gord Stets, Uncle Ron/Auntie Daysi Maasanen and cousins Mia and Aaleia Maasanen, Auntie Pam and cousin Cash. She was welcomed by Gramma Kathie Strazza and Wicket and now can run in the fields chasing butterflies.
A huge thank you to Dr. Butterworth and staff at Children’s Hospital in Vancouver who worked tirelessly to help Evie through many rough patches. Thank you to Evie’s care givers in Nanaimo who helped get mommy through Evie's passing and always being there when needed.
There will be a private gathering in the future.
