Known for his warmth, humour, and unwavering love for his family and friends, Leland lived a life filled with laughter and kindness.
He spent most of his life in Manitoba, where he built a successful career as a business owner, and formed lifetime connections. He later moved to Ontario and later to Vancouver Island, BC, where he enjoyed God*s beautiful scenery, swimming, and retired life.
He had a unique ability to bring people together, often with a well–timed joke or a heartfelt story. His joy for life was most evident in the deep connections he formed and the laughter he freely shared with everyone.
He was a devoted husband to Stephanie, for just under 49 years. He was a proud father to Andrea and Erika, and a loving grandfather to Aidan, Ryan, Brendan, Gillian, Henry and Cassidy. He also cherished his two sons-in-laws, Paul and Alex. He also cherished his older sister Sylvia and remembered with love his late older brother Lenart.
He is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, daughters, grandchildren, all extended family and past school mates, and many more people, all who had the privilege of knowing him.
