Margaret Wright

Peggy was born in Findhorn, Morayshire in Scotland. She came to Canada in September 1957 where she moved to Calgary with her husband Don, daughter Kate and son Alan. Bill was born in Calgary shortly after. Peggy and her family moved to Nanaimo in May 1967.

Peggy enjoyed playing bridge with her friends weekly where they would rotate hosting. She also loved her many trips across the border to play the slot machines. She always had a knack for winning! She was famous for her jumbo raisin cookies and always had a supply ready for her guests and family.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband Don, daughter Kate and son Bill. Her sister Catherine in Scotland passed away eight days after her.

She is survived by her sister Isabel, son Alan (Sharlene), grandchildren Diana (Kevin), Stephen, Kristal (Scott), Davis (Tia), great grandchildren Andrea, Taylor (Brad), Jack, Nora and Cohan and great great grandchild Luca.

Peggy will now be enjoying a cup of tea in heaven with Don, Kate, Bill and Catherine.
