Roberta Rose Burrows passed away peacefully of natural causes on Jully 11, 2026 at the age of 89, with family at her side.
She was born in Hespler, Ontario on November 11, 1936.
Her parents, Robert and Martha raised 5 beautiful daughters, Daisy, Betty, Roberta, Linda and Mary.
She was married to Douglas Burrows, and they had 4 children, Shelley, Gentry, Matthew, and Jonathan, as well as 4 grandchildren, Andrew, Kyle, Amalea and Victoria.
After many years of raising children and being the wife of a police chief, they spent 15 years sailing the Bahamas in their sailboat.
While doing this she also began her 30 year journey at the Haven Institute on Gabriola Island, BC where she became a leader and counselled many people in their relationships and personal developments.
They eventually moved to Vancouver Island, where they enjoyed their life together for their final years.
Cremation is taking place. In lieu of flowers and expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Haven Institute on her behalf.
