Robin passed away peacefully in the palliative care unit at Nanaimo General Hospital, with her family by her side. She was a daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend to many.
Robin will always be remembered for her big heart, wanting to help others, chatty nature and firm beliefs. Her love for her faith consumed her time keeping her strong, focused and completed her world.
Born and raised in the Fraser Valley BC, her childhood years were spent on many family adventures, camping, skiing, horseback riding and spending lots of time with aunts, uncles and cousins. As a young adult she settled over on the island which quickly became her new home. She loved the ocean air and strolling with her chows. Robin had many interests and was always searching for a new challenge, from learning a new language, teaching dance lessons or singing for the orchestra, she was passionate about her pursuits. She enjoyed the arts, music, photography and her love of animals consumed much of her time.
Small but mighty, stubborn but fierce, she could argue her way out of just about anything. A unique individual with a quirky personality who was very much loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
Memorial to be held Saturday March 14, 2026 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2114 Meredith Rd., Nanaimo, BC at 2:00pm.
