Roger lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and an unshakable wit that could bring laughter to any room. Known for his sharp sarcasm and easygoing humor, he had a way of making every story just a little bit funnier and every moment a little bit brighter.
Roger spent much of his life as a commercial fisherman, a profession that perfectly suited his deep connection to the water. Whether it was the calm of a lake at sunrise or the rhythm of the waves along the coast, he always found peace near a body of water — it was where he felt most at home.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Emily Miller; his daughters, Michelle (Miller) Henderson, Kaimie Watanabe, and Penny Miller; and his cherished granddaughter, Meare Miller. His love for his family was steady and enduring, and his spirit will continue to live on in their hearts and stories.
Roger’s family will remember him not only for his hard work and humor but for his warmth, generosity, and the countless memories. He leaves behind a legacy as deep and enduring as the waters he loved.
A private service will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share memories and celebrate a life well-lived.
