Pre-deceased by his brother Michael (Mickey), he leaves his wife of 49 years, Gail; his son, Kenn; daughter Kelly and two grandchildren Hayden and Hudson.
Born in Vancouver, Bill moved with his family to Nanaimo as a young boy. After spending time as a produce manager for a local grocery store, Bill started his sales career as car salesman before transitioning to a become a real estate agent. His real love was his passion for the local community which was evident with his participation with various service clubs and events promoting the city including 40+ years of involvement, most as Commodore, with the Loyal Nanaimo Bathtub Society.
A celebration of Bill's life will take place Sunday, January 13th from 1:30pm at the Nanaimo Yacht Club, 400 Newcastle Ave, Nanaimo, BC.
