The very best husband and father with a heart of gold, André Paul Sartorio, 76, of Naples, Florida, passed away on November 3, 2021. André was born on March 8, 1945 in Warren, Ohio. He was the only son of Frank and Anna Sartorio.
After his early retirement from Republic Steel in 1986, he moved his family to Naples, Florida. He was the owner of Andre’s Lawn Care and Landscaping for 11 years. He then worked at the Naples Municipal Airport for 15 years where he retired in 2010. He was a hardworking and dedicated man, earning the Airport’s “Employee of the Year” award in 2001, and a place in the hearts of all who knew him and worked with him.
André was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother, son, cousin and friend to all he met. To his wife Victoria, he was her adored “Bear”, her forever love, and the family chef. To his children, he was endlessly supportive – a life coach who never missed a game. André loved all sports, fishing, and spending time in the kitchen. He had a great sense of humor and a love of family above all else. He was an avid golfer and he cherished those days with his son and his golfing buddies, especially Francisco “Paco” Segura. André left this life as he lived it – with remarkable strength, courage, and grace.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Victoria Sartorio, and his three children, Michael Sartorio of Naples, FL and two daughters, Lindsay Sartorio-Kohl of Greensboro, NC, and Anna (Jimmy) Sotirakis of Warren, OH; two sisters, Frances “Chookie” Loychik of Sun City, AZ and Rita Sartorio of Warren, OH; “Bro” and sister-in-law H.J. “Sonny” and Betty Saunders of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Isaac, Joseph, Grace, and Evangeline Kohl and Penny (Chelsea) and Michael Sotirakis; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. His parents and his sister, Catherine Sartorio, preceded him in death.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. William Catholic Church,
