She graduated from the Purdue School of Pharmacy in 1950 and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.
On November 5, 1949, she married Jack W. Neff in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Over the years, she and Jack lived in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Naples, Florida. Betty loved to play golf, piano and attend family activities.
Betty was a devout Lutheran as a member at Emmanuel Lutheran in Naples, FL and Bethlehem Lutheran in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who accomplished many things in her life with incredible grace and humility. Betty was extraordinarily dedicated to family. Her focus on her children’s welfare earned her the title “Automatic No” for whenever they asked for a favor or treat the answer was “NO”.
Betty is a member of Royal Poinciana Golf Club and a former member of Meridian Hills Country Club in Indianapolis. She also has affiliations with the Hole in One Club at Quail Creek Country Club and Meridian Hills Country Club.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Jack W. Neff; eldest son Harry (Marie); former daughter-in-law Diane Neff
Survived by daughter, Virginia Neff; sons, John (Liz) Neff, Dan (Sally) Neff, Jim (Julia) Neff; daughter-in-law, Barbara Neff; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 23 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 777 Mooring Line Drive, Naples, FL 34102 with the funeral at 11:00 AM. Entombment will take place at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana at a later date.
