

Bruce J. Falta was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 31, 1958, to Jerome Francis and Arline Marie (Falta). He was raised in Newport News, VA where he attended grade school. After grade school he went straight to work on Tugboats where he found his passion for being on the water and anything marine related, due to his love for the industry he later became a captain and then became self‐employed in the marine industry. Bruce’s lifelong passion was for being on the water and boats, after many years as a captain, working on boats and being around the docks, he earned the nickname Capt. BJ. In addition, he enjoyed anything sports related and sweet desserts at night.
Bruce leaves behind his daughter Jasmine Falta of Tampa, FL, his son Justin Falta of Naples, FL. His adored grandson Eric Banzer of San Diego, CA. His sister Sally Manz and her husband David of Marathon, FL, His sister Amy Puto and her husband Jerry of Islamorada, FL. His brother David Falta and Sister‐in‐law Velvet of Wellington, FL and his brother Craig Falta of Cocoa, FL along with many adored nieces and nephews and his step-mother, Mary Falta.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Scott Falta and Step-Father, Robert.
Bruce was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
A celebration for Bruce’s life will be held on June 25,2022 at 11:00am at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens located at 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108.
