Carol Martin

She was born November 30, 1942 in Lima, Ohio to the late Robert and Eunice Cole. Her first marriage was to John Sabol. She was married a second time to Achim Martin who preceded her in death in 2015.

Survivors include her daughter Shelly (Scott) Krueger of Amherst, OH; Granddaughters Megan (Erix) Infante of Dayton, OH; Kasey Krueger of Littleton, CO; and her brother Steve (Peg) Cole of Ada, OH. She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert Cole, Jr., and William Cole.

Carol grew up in Ada, Ohio. After obtaining her masters in speech-language pathology from Ohio University, Carol worked in the Lima area until retirement. Upon retirement, Carol moved to Marco Island, Florida. She and Achim established residences between Marco Island, and Parry Sound, Canada. Carol is the author of two books. She enjoyed visiting her family, talking to friends, traveling, reading, and a good glass of wine.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later time in Ada, Ohio.
