Freddie Gerald Norwood Jr., 28, of Naples, Florida, passed away on March 15, 2026. Born March 4, 1998 in Naples to his loving mother, Belinda, Freddie entered this world bright, full of life, and with a spirit that could light up any room.
From the very beginning, Freddie had a way about him that drew people in. He had a genuine, kind heart and a sense of humor that could lift even the heaviest moments. He made people feel like family, no matter who they were. His laughter was contagious, but it was his smile—one you could see shining through his eyes—that people will remember forever.
Freddie lived life in his own unique way. He loved playing video games, riding bikes, and had a deep passion for motorcycles and dirt bikes. He was always ready for an adventure, always chasing moments that made him feel alive. He had an incredible mind for computers and a natural gift for understanding how things worked. If something was broken, Freddie could fix it—especially anything mechanical. He was talented in ways that made you stop and admire him.
He worked as a line cook, where he found joy in making pizza and sharing that with others. It wasn’t just a job to him—it was something he took pride in, something he enjoyed, just like everything he did with heart.
But more than anything, Freddie loved his family. His devotion to his mother was something truly special. He cared for her daily, making sure she woke up every morning, quietly showing his love through actions that spoke louder than words ever could. That was who Freddie was—selfless, attentive, and full of love.
He shared an unbreakable bond with his sisters, who meant everything to him. And his nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart—they were his joy, his laughter, and a big part of what kept him smiling.
Freddie was the kind of person you don’t forget. The kind of soul that leaves a mark on your heart forever. His presence brought comfort, his laughter brought light, and his love brought people together.
Losing him has left a silence that can never truly be filled.
He is deeply missed by his mother, Belinda; his sisters; his beloved nieces and nephews; and all of his family and friends whose lives he touched in such a meaningful way.
Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on forever.
Forever loved. Always remembered. Never forgotten.
