

Dr. Frederick Nerone of Naples Florida passed away on Friday September 22, 2017. He was born August, 1, 1945 and was raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He joined the Marines after graduation and worked in the aerospace industry (LTV) for many years. He was part owner of two manufacturing companies in Michigan and a member of Indianwood Country Club. He and his wife Carole moved to Naples, Florida in 1989. He joined Hodges University and was there for 20 years as a teacher, department head and retiring as Dean of the Ken Johnson School of Business.
Fred and his wife Carole live in Bear’s Paw Country Club and are members of the Commanderie d’Bordeaux and International Wine & Food Society. Fred loved golf, playing Gin Rummy with his friends at Bears Paw, playing poker, going on cruises, and drinking good wine and eating good food.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Carole, sister Anita Johnson (Rod) , Jackson, Mi, brother Joe Nerone (Michelle), East Jordan, Mi., and Sister-in-Law Judy (John) of Port Charlotte, FL.
Fred’s wishes were to be cremated with no service but would like to be remembered by a “toast” with a good wine.
