I knew Jack well during my years at Canadian Tire. We travelled through China together on several occasions. Jack's integrity was unmatched. He was a wonderful thoughtful man, remembering birthdays after all these years. I always enjoyed hearing of his sailing adventures. He will be greatly missed.

Jack was a phenomenal person.  A pleasure to work with for many many years at Sears where his drive and creativity added greatly to Sears sales and market share.  He was the greatest to work with.

Personally Jack was the same way -- he always remembered birthdays and was a delight to be with for dinner or just conversation.  He always had time to listen and make suggestions when appropriate.

We thought he would live forever -- we wish he had.  God bless you Jack.

I had the opportunity to work with Jack while I was at Sears, and travelled with him to China. He was an incredibly wonderful caring and sharing person, and I will certainly miss him.

I was fortunate enough to have an internship in Dallas at Handtools International where I worked for Jack.  I was fortunate to get to spend time with him.  It's a funny thing how sometimes it is not the people closest to you who can reach you.  Jack had absolute confidence I could do anything I set my mind to, and that is something I have taken with me the rest of my life.  He was just so matter-of-fact about it.  I only regret that in the brief time he was ill I didn't have a chance to tell him thanks one last time.  He had a profound effect on my life, and I will miss him greatly.  My life would certainly be worse for not having known him.

I am so very sorry to hear of Jack's death. I worked for him in Addison, Texas for over 5 years, and was very grateful for the opportunity to work for such a wonderful man. 
He was truly a very kind, thoughtful, and considerate gentleman. I have never met or worked for another man like him in all of my 70 years. 
We all will feel the loss of such a good man.

Jack Evans was a true friend.  He was always thoughtful, kind and willing to help in any way he could, not only in a professional matter, but personal as well.  He was one of the first people I dealt with when I became a Buyer at Sears.  He was always a gentleman, and a "Gentle Man". He will always live in our hearts and memories.  May he Rest in Peace.

JACK EVANS was the most wonderful person that I have ever known. He respected everyone and was kind to all. I worked for Jack for 10 years and would do anything he asked - he was more a Father than a Boss. 
There will never be another person like JACK EVANS. I am sure God will use his talents to make earth a better place to live. 

May the Family of Jack rejoice that he is now reunited with Mary and celebrate his life in the spirit of love.  GOD BLESS !
