James Costello, Sr., 87, of Naples, FL died on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011. He was a proud veteran of the Army Air Corp who served as a guard on the Manhattan Project and was a glider pilot. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Naomi Doris Costello, His daughters Betty Jane (Carlos) SanClemente and Barbara Ann Durant, His son John Costello. He is also survived by four Grandchildren, Keith, Chuck, Brian and Jenna and six Great Grandchildren, Christina, Charlie, Phillip, Drew, Sadie, and Adriana and a sister Carmella Tomasino. He was preceded in death by his son, James Costello, Jr. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011 at Hodges Funeral Home, Naples, FL. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday, Aug., 15, at 10:00 at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave., N., Naples, FL 34108.
