

Jim was born in Arkansas to Hail and Louise on December 4, 1942. He grew up in Michigan and graduated from Eastern Michigan. Prior to college he served in the US Air Force. He married Sue in Birmingham, MI more than 54 years ago. Jim’s career spanned more than 30 years with General Motors in Sales Management. His work with GM led to many moves across the country. With each move, he led the charge for the family on settling in, exploring the area (dining & sporting events) and creating new friendships.
You could find Jim with family and friends, watching sports or enjoying his favorite past time, golf. No matter where he was, he was among friends and enjoying life. Jim had a way of connecting with people and had friendships lasting more than 70 years. He will be remembered for his friendship, warmth, love and calm nature.
Jim is survived by his spouse, Sue: his daughter Laura Pishkur and spouse John Pishkur: his daughter Mary Kaneaster: grandchildren Carson and Chloe Pishkur.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11am Friday, February 2 at First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs located at 9751 Bonita Beach Road SE, Bonita Springs, FL.
Following, A Celebration of Life Reception will be held 12:15 pm Friday, February 2 at Shadow Wood Country Club.
Suggested attire for Celebration of Life is country club casual or golf attire.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The V Foundation, Liberty Youth Ranch or a charity that is meaningful to you.
