We are so very sorry to read that Joan has passed.  We welcomed her into our family upon her engagement to David M. Funk Sr. and hoped that they would marry.  Unfortunately for all of us he passed away from cancer before they could wed.  We send our condolences  to her family and pray that she is at peace.

So sorry for your loss.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family. My Dad and she were cousins and he always spoke so fondly of her. I know she will be missed.

What wonderful memories I have of this amazing woman.  Growing up on Wixted Avenue made you an instant part of the Wixted Family.  "Aunt Joan" was full of energy and fun.    I remember visiting Hawthorne Cove with the Kane's  and the many picnics and parties through the years.  My deepest sympathy to Rich and the entire family.
