Proud grandfather of Hannah and Abigail.
Survived by his sister Jill (Mark) Hokanson, brothers James (Angela) and Michael (Jen) Jannusch, stepdad Tim Pearson, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
John graduated NCHS (1977) and attended UND (Sigma Nu) and proudly served in the USAF for 12 years.
Discovered Florida’s benevolence in 2005 and made his home in Sarasota where he enjoyed fishing, kayaking and golf. He became a member of the K of C at St. Thos. More C.C.
Ever the rascal, John could engage in conversation with anyone and especially enjoyed making others laugh.
He amassed a treasure trove of the happiest memories of his life, all 64 years.
John loved his Lord and his family and leaves each of us broken hearted until we meet again.
