Joseph A. Mangine

He was born on September 1, 1944 in St. Paul, Minnesota the son of Julio and Josephine Mangine.

Joe graduated from the University of Minnesota. Joe and wife Julie met at the University and married on September 11, 1965. He was drafted September 13, 1965 and served about 9 months in Vietnam until he was wounded. He was the VP of sales for Brown Printing. Joe loved to play golf and spend time with family and friends. Joe and Julie had three wonderful children, three granddaughters, and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents Julio and Josephine Mangine and his sister Marilyn Hanson.

Joe is survived by his wife Julie (Bly) Mangine, daughters Lisa (David) Butler, Brenda Mangine (Scott Willegalle) and son Anthony Mangine. Granddaughters Ashley (Kyle) Roach, Stephanie Butler (Robert Kuepper), Grace (Jake) Murphy. Great-grandson Theodore Wren Roach. Siblings Doug (Sharon) Mangine, Julio (Judy) Mangine, Brian Mangine, Pam (Mike) Schuller, David (Diane) Mangine, Mary (Mike) Manders, Jackie Mangine and Anna Mangine. Brother in law Robert Hanson and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 4-8 PM at Pinnacle Club House at the Strand.

A funeral and burial will take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota at a later date.
