Lytra Renee Wilson of Naples, Florida passed away on June 7th, 2023. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on February 28th, 1963. Lytra graduated from the University of Houston with a in Bachelor's in Psychology.
She had a career in Social Work in which she spent many years devoting her time to helping the elderly, those with special needs, and underserved children. She was a member of St. Ann’s Council of Catholic Women and a host of other clubs and organizations. Lytra had a passion for literature, travel, design (home & fashion), politics, theater & the arts, and most importantly serving God.
In her downtime, she enjoyed spending time with her friends & family, going to the movies, shopping and dining downtown, walking on the beach, and she was a connoisseur of candy. She is survived by her mother, Betty J Morrison, her daughters; Porscha Monet Riley (George) and Sheena Allyce Dovitz (Zachary); grandson, Mason Noah Willborn. Siblings, Rodney D. Blackmon, Shawn A. Blackmon, Kimberly G Blackmon, Edgar D. Blackmon; Aunt, Alice J. Watson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Lytra will be held Monday, June 12, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, Florida 34108. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 12:00 PM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 985 3rd St S,, Naples, FL 34102.
