Mary Louise Connone, 93, originally from Lorain, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 27th in Naples Florida, where she resided for the past three decades. Mary Lou was born on July 30th, 1929 in Lorain, Ohio to Alfred Frasca and Mary (Marcello) Frasca.
In Ohio, she had a successful career as a Real Estate broker and was always active in her community. Most notably, she spearheaded the Urban Renewal movement in Lorain, including the restoration of the Palace Theatre and was very involved with Lorain Community Hospital.
Later in life, she volunteered with the Naples Chamber of Commerce and was an advocate for supporting Naples restaurants and happy hours. She also loved playing dominoes with her friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Connone in 2008. Survivors include her brother Albert Frasca and wife Muriel of Springfield, Ohio. She also leaves behind her two children Christine Connone in Malabar, Florida and her son Dale Connone, his wife Stacy, and two loving grandchildren, Dylan and Austin, who reside in Rumson, NJ. In addition she leaves behind some amazing friends in both Ohio and Florida who were like family to her. She lived an incredible life.
A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date in Naples Florida.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Red Cross to support hurricane recovery efforts in Naples - the town she loved.
