

Muriel was born on July 1, 1928 in Bristol, New Hampshire to Gertrude (Moody) and Merville Hadley. She was a 1946 graduate of Bristol High School. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Boston after attending Shepherd School of Nursing in Boston in 1947 and earning a diploma from the Household Nursing Association of Attendant Nursing in Boston in 1948. She married Robert Beaulieu in Boston in 1950 and they raised their family in Burlington, Massachusetts before retiring to Naples in 1986, where she enjoyed golf, jigsaw puzzles, Scrabble, and, especially, watercolor painting. She most often painted her favorite colorful birds and flowers, but also painted many land and seascapes. She entered and sold her paintings in community art shows, winning several awards, and also gifted many to her large family.
Muriel is survived by her husband, Robert of Naples; daughter and son-in-law Marsha and Marc Lantz of Brandon, FL; son and daughter-in-law Robert, Jr. and Kelly Hart of Mooresville NC; son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Joanne of Dennisport, MA; son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Carole of Merrimack, NH; daughter-in-law Carla Beaulieu of Burlington, MA; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Wayne Hadley, and son Jay Beaulieu.
Family and friends will gather for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on Monday, June 13 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5130 Rattlesnake Hammock Road, Naples, FL. Interment will follow at Naples Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 525 111th Ave N, Naples FL. There will then be a brief reception for family and friends at Hodges Funeral Home, also at 525 111th Ave N, Naples.
