Nancy (Anne) Gray Eubank, age 89, passed away on October 18, 2015, from an unexpected terminal illness at Vi Bentley Village, Naples, FL. She was born on September 5, 1926 in Newport News, VA to Thomas George and Anne Wilkinson Gray. A Southern lady, she was unassuming about her beauty and intellect. She graduated from Southern Seminary in 1943 with an Associate degree in Business, and went on to marry her handsome GI, Buddy Eubank in 1947. A gentle spirit, she devoted her life to Buddy and their family. They raised their five children in Virginia Beach, VA. A friend to many, she celebrated life and only saw the good in others. Nancy was an athlete; an accomplished tennis player, she took up golf late in life. She gave generously of her time and energy to serve others. She loved games, puzzles: crossword, jigsaw, and all challenges of the mind. One of her great joys was singing Christmas carols. Nancy was predeceased by her husband of 65 years John William (Buddy) Eubank, Jr, her son Gray Fitzgerald Eubank, and her brother John David Gray. She is survived by her four adoring children: John William Eubank, III (Elizabeth), David Thomas Eubank (Anita Bunn), Susan Wilkinson Eubank (Lawrence Bowers), and Tracey Eubank Barry (Theodore Barry), her sister Mary Jane Massenburg of Hampton, VA, and two granddaughters and four grandsons. Nancy's joyous spirit and kind nature will be missed. A memorial service will be held at Vi Bentley Village on November 2 at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund www.vpcnaples.org.
