

Norma Lester, a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was a woman of strength and unwavering love, always putting her family first.
Norma found joy in life’s simple pleasures, whether it was indulging in a little ‘retail therapy’, cheering on her Miami Heat or Miami Dolphins, spending time on the beach or embarking on a cruise to explore the Caribbean. Above all, her greatest happiness came from the time she spent with her beloved family. She was the proud mother of four daughters and the cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Norma was born in Miami, Florida on February 10, 1959, and was one of four children. Norma was preceded in death by her ‘one true love’, David ‘Boe’ Lester, whom she was married to for 40 years.
She is survived by her daughters Danielle Johnson (Brian) of Castle Rock, Colorado; Connie Thomas (Michael) of Naples; Tasha Pierson (Victor) of Naples; Jessica Marciano (Michael) of Naples; adopted daughter Liz Ransom of Naples; grandchildren JP (Ginger) and Justin; Cater and Conner; Vivien and Michael; Makayla, Kameron and Aiden; Mason, Tristin, Levi, Christopher and Sofia; great-grandchild Emma; and sisters Dorothy (Bob) of Naples and Donna.
Her warrior spirit will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Her legacy of devotion, strength and surrounded by love will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, especially in the spirit of her daughters.
